Escapade to the Isle of Bute

Sometimes, we are so entrenched in our ordinary day to day life that we often forget the world around us and its beauty. The wonders of nature never cease to surprise and there are so many places around Greenock that, by their enchanting attractiveness, are deserving of a visit. One of those places is the Isle of Bute.

I had a chance of been invited for a walk there with a few friends from the Greenock Cut Volunteers. It was just a matter of taking a journey by train from Greenock to Wemyss bay and, from there, hop on the ferry to Rothesay.
